Acron Wins Chemistry Complex Business Index Award

Acron won the Chemistry Complex Business Index Award in the category for Investing in People. The award showcases the most important chemical industry projects that further the industry’s development. This year’s award ceremony was held at the Khimprom in Details industry forum, organised by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. 

In Novgorod region, Acron Group invests in the development of local infrastructure and implements a number of social and charitable programmes to support non-governmental organisations and social institutions. 

On  4 November 2020, the War Veterans Hospital in Veliky Novgorod opened the doors to its new, modern geriatric centre. The initiative to create a geriatric rehabilitation system in Novgorod region was spearheaded in 2019 by Dr Viatcheslav Kantor, Chairman of Acron’s Coordinating Board and an honorary citizen of Veliky Novgorod. Novgorod region governor Andrey Nikitin expressed his support for the project, which aims to help seniors maintain their health, energy levels, and social connections using state-of-the-art medical rehabilitation technologies. Acron invested a total of RUB 143 million in the project. 

In 2019, Acron Group allocated RUB 1.6 billion for sustainable development measures, including environmental protection, occupational health and safety, social and charitable programmes, and contributions to the social and economic development of its footprint regions.
