IAS revenue up 20% in H1 2007

JSC Dorogobuzh posted IAS revenue of RUB 3.589 billion for the first half of 2007, up 20% year-on-year from RUB 2.872 billion. Dorogobuzh is part of the Acron Holding.
The Company’s IAS net profit went up 44% to RUB 551 million, against RUB 362 million in the first half of 2006. EBITDA was up 30.2% to RUB 900 million.
“We attribute this strong performance to favorable conditions in the global fertilizer market and higher prices for the entire range of Dorogobuzh products,” reports Acron vice president Alexander Popov. “In other positive news, the plant will not have to interrupt its operations this year for maintenance. Completed upgrades will allow us to stretch to two years between required overhauls,” Popov explained.
