Acron Group won the New Geography award at the regional stage of the Exporter of the Year national competition for companies in the North-Western Federal District.
Established by the Russian Federation Government and organised by the Russian Export Centre, which supports non-resource exports, the award is given to companies and individual entrepreneurs that are successful in non-resource and non-energy exports, services, and intellectual activity.
Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors Alexander Popov explained that the Group has leveraged existing production potential to increase its mineral fertiliser sales. ‘In 2020, commercial output was up 7%, and the Group sold 7.8 million tonnes of its products to 74 countries. I am confident that we will see this positive trend in production and sales continue in the coming years’.
