Acron Sells One Exploration Permit to a Potassium Salts Deposit at Saskatchewan

Acron’s subsidiary, 101109718 Saskatchewan Ltd., sold the right to prepare for extraction of potassium salts at the KP 385 permit area to the Canadian Sanya Resource Corporation for CAD 6 million.  

Background

In 2008, Acron acquired a 98% stake in the Canadian company 101109718 Saskatchewan Ltd, which obtained exploration permits for 36 areas of the Prairie Evaporite potassium salt deposit with a total area of 10,274 km2 (2,537,913 acres) in Saskatchewan, Canada. The total value of the transaction was CAD 61 million.
