Acron and Dorogobuzh (Russian companies of Acron Group) supplied over one million tonnes of ammonium nitrate and NPK to the domestic market year-to-date, which accounts for more than one third of their total mineral fertiliser sales over this period.
The Russian market has always been a strategic priority to Acron Group. Being the clear leader in the mineral fertliser supplies for the Russian market, Acron is taking every effort to support Russian farmers and create favorable conditions to boost Russian fertiliser sales. Global financial crisis triggered a major slump in mineral fertiliser demand at both global and national markets in H2 2008; however, strong sales in the Russian market show great confidence of domestic consumers.
